What is CultivaNode?
CultivaNode is a mobile app and website for farm management and hiring. You can plan your crops, record your farm work, track your store and money, and hire tractors or farm hands near you.
Who can use it?
Crop farmers, machinery owners, farm hands, machine operators, sprayers, mechanics and extension agents. Animal farmers can register now; livestock tools come in a later phase.
Do I need a smartphone?
A smartphone gives you the full app. If you don't have one, a CultivaNode field agent can register you and your farm, and important alerts come by SMS.
Do I need an email address?
No. You sign up with your phone number and a one-time code sent by SMS. Email is optional.
How is my money protected when I hire?
When you book, your payment is held by a licensed payment partner. The provider is paid only after you confirm the job, or 48 hours after they upload proof if you do not respond. If there is a problem, you can raise a dispute and the money stays on hold.
How much does it cost?
You pay the price shown by the provider. CultivaNode's commission comes out of the provider's payment, not added on top. Full pricing will be published before the pilot starts.
Which languages can I use?
English and Yorùbá on the website. The app and the farm assistant will also speak Pidgin. Igbo and Hausa will follow.
Is my information safe?
Yes. We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. We store only masked ID numbers, and we never share your farm data with lenders, buyers or investors without your clear permission.
When does it start?
The pilot is planned to start with the early planting season, in selected communities across the South-West. Join the pilot and we will contact you.
